Market-savvy is an important value in the business world. Michael Trimarco has worked in the financial industry for a number of years. Since 1999 he has been a full-time entrepreneur in the business world. The various businesses have accumulated over $300 million in revenue, which is an impressive figure regardless of who you are or what you have accomplished. A Bachelor’s in Science from Cornell University in New York was the beginning of his higher education; which was completed when he earned an MBA from Harvard. The skills learned in the MBA program must have proven fairly useful—considering Michael Trimarco’s later success in entrepreneurial efforts. Success in academic pursuits does not, though, always translate into success in entrepreneurial pursuits. Those entrepreneurs who are able to translate academic success into real world success are the ones that achieve more.

He spent time, after academia, at very successful financial firms like GE Capital and Lehman Brothers Trading, where he excelled. His career in finance lasted until 1999, when he became his own boss. The many industries he has worked in include technology services and telecommunications. Trimarco is a businessman who has demonstrated his abilities in several industries. He is now the CEO of the largest television dealer in the United States—a country which is known for its television consumption.
